Time, color, emotion and human interaction. These are some of the things that inspire me. Intriguing to me is the passage of time, and the idea that it does not inherently lend itself to the static medium of photography. I explore this dichotomy in much of my conceptual work.

I do not go places to take photographs, I take photographs when I find myself at interesting places. I strive to find beauty in the ordinary. Growing up in the breathtakingly beautiful state of Vermont made this task simple. From there I moved to the cultural town of Saratoga Springs, New York to attend Skidmore College, where I was able to further my technical training. And from Saratoga Springs I relocated to the Boston area. I currently live outside of Boston in Malden, Massachusetts. The rich historical and cultural presence in the area is my constant inspiration.
